While holidaying in Malaysia, I decided to go window shopping in Sunway Pyramid. As explained in my previous post, this is a shopping complex and the Aeroline Coach stop/ office is near here.
The FullHouse Signature restaurant has been in Sunway Pyramid for many years now. I have passed by many times and I have not actually ate there. So this time I decided to give it a try.
I must say that the décor and ambience is rather unique. It is like a little European/ Japanese style of décor. It is actually European style. The Japanese part is that sometimes you see this style in Japanese doll or toy collection. The restaurant is white – the walls, tables, chairs, sheep, etc.
There was an array of lovely cakes on display at the entrance. The restaurant serves full meals for lunch and dinner as well as cakes for tea. This time when we went there it was afternoon tea time. So we decided to have cakes and refreshment.
We each ordered a cold Cappuccino and a Red velvet cake to share. ( We are trying not to feel guilty after having so much to eat).
The cake was yummy with cheese frosting and it was triple layered. The cappuccino was as good as expected. The most enjoyable part was the ambience which was very relaxing. We enjoyed the atmosphere and really had a restful stop from all the walking.
The restaurant is available to rent as a function venue for events like weddings and birthdays. According to the information in the menu pack, it is a franchise from Hong Kong.
Verdict:
It is a lovely place to have a rest. Our visit there was relaxing. I would come back again to try the rest of the menu.
My sister will be bringing her grand children here to enjoy the facilities. The restaurant is clean and has a lot of things to keep her grand children amused.
My sister later found out that there is an outlet in Penang.
